Lease Extensions
If you are the leaseholder of a house, flat or maisonette, have a lease with more than 21 years unexpired and have owned or lived in the property for more than 2 years, you are entitled to a lease extension.
If you are a leaseholder wishing to extend your lease we can act on your behalf, providing you with valuations and negotiating the lowest possible premium payable for the extended lease.
Extending your lease would add value to your property, and this uplift would be likely to far exceed the cost of extension.
If you are a freeholder and have had notice served for extension by the leaseholders, we can provide you with valuations and negotiate the highest possible figure payable to you.
ANFord Chartered Surveyors specialise in Leasehold Reform, to include Lease Extension. We have acted on behalf of both leaseholders and freeholders and have achieved favourable results for both.
If you wish to discuss your requirements or the processes involved in lease extension, please do not hesitate to contact us.
